About me:

I am a physical designer, sculptor, and builder exploring the intersection of organic form and industrial aesthetics. Growing up in New Mexico’s dramatic landscape nurtured my affinity for the natural world, while my studies at Stanford illuminated the possibilities of technology and innovation. As a senior pursuing a BS in physical design & manufacturing alongside an art practice minor, I am fascinated by how design interacts with users and how lighting can transform mood and space. This summer, I founded Aridity Studios to create lamps that combine elegant artistry with exceptional usability. After multiple iterations, and an educational trip to Shenzhen, China, the Aspen floor lamp is now ready for production. I am currently focused on marketing as the web engineers finalize the shop.
